The Hazara Democratic Party: is a political party of the Hazara people in Pakistan. It is mainly active in Quetta city, where up to half a million Hazara currently reside.

Description of the Flag
HDP was founded on 1 July 2003 in Quetta to represent the some 600,000 Hazara people living in Balochistan (Pakistan). The founder and chairman of the party Hussain Ali Yousofi was murdered on 26 January 2009 in Quetta; he was succeeded by Abdul Khaliq Hazara. The flag of HDP is horizontally divided green-yellow with a red stripe placed along the hoist, charged with the white letters “HDP” arranged vertically, and a white star placed in the middle of the green stripe.

Hazaras are a community of Shia Muslims of Turkic and Mongolic origin who live in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
